About Alba Show Chorus

Alba Show Chorus is a world-renowned, all female chorus based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Our mission is creating great music together, and our style is four-part a capella singing. Our repertoire is mixed, and the approach is simple: If we love it, we´ll sing it – that´s why you´ll always find something by Freddie! Even though we´ll do almost any musical genre, special emphasis is placed on singing in the Barbershop style.

Regular participation in competitions helps to continually develop and sharpen our performance. During its relatively short existence, Alba has already earned two international gold medals.

Mixed in with the competitions are stage shows, recordings, and all sorts of other gigs. Every activity is based on joint leadership, teamwork, and the joy of working together to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.

Over the years, inspiringly led by different directors, from as few as 20 to as many as 50 members, the unique Alba sound is ever-present. And the ambition is always the same: to touch every heart in the audience.

Enjoy the music with us. Tap your foot or dance away. Listen intently or sing along, laugh out loud or shed a tear. Wishing you goosebumps all over!

Hello Alba! Regarding My Foolish Heart… do you have a recording of your group singing Joni’s arrangement? I remember hearing it during Int’l contest, but would love to hear it again. Our group is considering the arrangement. Thank you!

      Hi Ridette,
it is Joni Bescos arrangement we sing and the lyricist is Ned Washington. It’s a beautiful arrangement really, and we love it.

      Best regards,
